About SSH

Our owner, Kaitlynn, has always been a horse gal. She went to The University of Montana Western, where she earned a BS  in Natural Horsemanship, minored in Instruction, a BAS with an emphasis in Business Administration, and an AAS in Equine Studies. She has interned guiding trail rides and teaching lessons.

She started Silver Spurs Horsemanship after graduation, and takes in clients and their horses, while also working with her own horses - Dory, Nala, and Pilgrim (as pictured).

She thrives on seeing the lightbulb come on with her lesson clients, and teaching riders how to be soft on their horses. She loves working with horses and seeing the excitement in their owners when they see the improvements made before they take them home again.

She uses a lot of natural horsemanship training philosophies and focuses on big releases and being as soft as possible while holding firm expectations for the horses to learn. She looks forward to meeting you and working with you and your horses!
